AMPA Sishya School is a new branch of the renowned Sishya School set in a busy part of Chennai. The school has been designed with environmental sustainability at its core. The building envelope made of hollow terracotta blocks and a shaded rooftop play area keep the interiors cool. Natural fresh air ventilation and abundance of daylight are also key design elements. Interiors have also been carefully designed with the use of eco-friendly wood and flooring with an overarching aim of ensuring the well-being of the occupants as well as the environment.
