Over the years, Green Evolution has worked hard to make this philosophy an integral part of every design via a robust process.

Create healthy and cheerful spaces for occupants
Harmonize the built environment with its surrounding natural setting
Key principles of sustainable design
Our design process starts with an in-depth study of the site to get a thorough understanding of the topography and micro-climatic factors. The design that emerges is based on a holistic consideration of site factors such as the existing vegetation, slopes, prevailing wind direction and the surroundings. The resulting built-environment therefore exists in harmony with nature and provides a high quality of life without an unsustainable consumption of resources.
We factor local climatic and site-specific conditions into our designs right at the conceptual design stage. This allows us to design spaces that are comfortable for occupants without using extensive space conditioning. Additionally, energy efficient equipment and renewable energy systems are incorporated to make our designs extremely energy efficient.
We incorporate a wide range of strategies to implement a “reduce-reuse-recycle” approach that leads to water conservation. These measures help reduce water use, reuse harvested rainwater and recycle waste water to greatly reduce the water footprint of the buildings we design.
Through a judicious material selection process, we avoid the unnecessary usage of resources. We prefer using local building materials in their most natural forms as much as possible, i.e. materials with low embodied energy. This results in a significant reduction in the carbon footprint of our buildings therefore, lowering emissions and reducing depletion of resources.
We place great emphasis on designing spaces that are well ventilated, naturally lit and have no / very low chemical emissions. We also take a lot of effort in ensuring that the spaces we design are ergonomic and universally accessible. This results in enhanced indoor environment quality, ultimately elevating the quality of life for the occupants.
